I love my JOB as a stay at home mom. It is the most important job I will ever have. Some may think my degree has gone to waste (B.S from UC Davis along with a teaching credential) but I know in the long run, what I am doing is more important than any job I could have, and is worth more money than a six figure salary could give me. Motherhood is an investment. I am investing wisely because the dividends will surely come….and I will proudly show them off.
I read this the other day… something to think about-
A Salary.com calculation found that after all the various duties are added up, stay-at-home moms put in 94.7 hours in a typical workweek, and it would cost $112,962 a year to replace her.
