Project 52: 20

This picture makes me laugh.  I was inside while my hubby was outside with the girls, I come out and spot my little one rocking her dirt bike goggles while she is riding her bike.  She is a creative one and was not thrilled when i made her stop for a moment to catch her blue eyes in the mask..

Project 52: 19

I love my JOB as a stay at home mom.  It is the most important job I will ever have.   Some may think my degree has gone to waste (B.S from UC Davis along with a teaching credential) but I know in the long run, what I am doing is more important than any job I could have, and is worth more money than a six figure salary could give me.  Motherhood is an investment. I am investing wisely because the dividends will surely come….and I will proudly show them off.

I read this the other day… something to think about-

Salary.com calculation found that after all the various duties are added up, stay-at-home moms put in 94.7 hours in a typical workweek, and it would cost $112,962 a year to replace her.

I completely agree. I really hope to be a stay at home mom one day. Yesterday we missed our little girls first steps and it killed me knowing I was at work and missed it.

Beautiful Friendship

It started out as a beautiful thing, two sweet girls connecting in class.  I will never forget the day Mia came home and so eagerly shared at dinner, “I met a new friend today- and she is just like me.”  Madison moved from another town far away and was getting used to life here.  Over the past year these two have grown really close.  Madison has a great family too which is a total bonus for us.  I was lucky enough to do their FIRST ever family photo shoot.  I think you can tell from the pictures how much they love each other.  I can’t wait to see these photos hanging on the walls in your home.

I love that Madison and Mia have become such great friends. Today, it was adorable watching the girls laugh as they danced in the grass. It seems like whenever they are together both of their smiles are much brighter. I also feel lucky to have met you and your wonderful family. Thank you so much for taking these pictures of us. I absolutely love them and can’t wait to plaster them all over the walls of my house! You are such a gifted photographer, and have the innate ability to capture the true essence of a person. I can’t wait to see your next photoshoot!
